[English]

Urban morphology is a major trend in the study of the shape of the city in urban geography, the word morphology means: the science of form, whose job is to examine the shape of the form of the external structure or the way it is arranged. Urban morphology shows that settlements can be examined by key elements such as land uses, construction structures, the pattern of parts and the pattern of the street, and emphasizes the difference in the durability and lifespan of these elements. slow This article is based on practical purpose and on the basis of descriptive-analytical nature. By using the ENVI-met software, the obtained indicators are modeled and displayed as a micro-climate. In addition to the ENVI-met software, factor analysis is also used to summarize a large number of variables into a limited number of variables. and scoring and ranking have been done using it. The purpose of compiling the article is to investigate the impact of urban morphology on thermal comfort (between Velayat Faqih Square and Baath Boulevard). According to the information obtained from the present research: this area has an old and organic texture that was built based on traditional criteria and has an almost suitable morphology, but the conditions of this area can be improved by making small changes. In addition, the materials used in the buildings of this area (brick, flower straw, etc.) have suitable conditions that reflect the temperature and humidity and store the energy from the sun, so it can be said that life The adaptability of the range is also desirable.
Highlight:
By examining the effect of the spatial form and shape of the city, we came to the conclusion that the organic texture of Urmia city is much better than the newly built texture of the city. The climate of Urmia city has a significant impact on determining the thermal comfort of the city.
