Statement of the problem: One of the prerequisites for the development of public spaces, especially the human right of each individual to enjoy the opportunities provided, is known as the theory of the right to the city. The presence of women in public spaces of the city is no exception to this category,
Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze a women-friendly city in Park Velayat using the Right to the City theory approach.
Method: The present research method is a mixed-method development (quantitative-qualitative) study that was conducted using a researcher-made questionnaire and structured interviews with experts and specialists in the field of urban affairs. In order to assess the validity of the questionnaires, the construct validity method was used. In this method, confirmatory factor analysis of the variables was measured using LISREL software.
Findings: The results of the research, which initially extracted research indicators through the study of research work using content analysis and confirmation by experts and organizational experts, and then the results were presented quantitatively in the form of a questionnaire, and using first and second order confirmatory factor analysis, the variable of women-friendly city yielded significant coefficients of (1.96), which the results indicate confirmation of the construct validity of the women-friendly city questionnaire.
Conclusion: Considering the statistics used for goodness of fit such as CFI, NFI, IFI, RFI, etc., it was greater than 0.9, which can be inferred that the research model has a good fit. Since RMSEA is equal to 0.069 and this value is smaller than 0.1, it shows that the questionnaire items are well capable of measuring a women-friendly city with a right-to-city approach. A holistic view and a review of the design model of traditional cities, creating a platform for women's participation in public spaces of the city, are considered an important Solutions.
